Mobile blogging: sending text or a picture to a blog from a mobile phone or similar device.

When this was written, things like iPhones, iPads and Android tablets weren't even on anyones radar. Twitter didn't even exist, and Facebook was still a college only project.

Oddly, even in 2011, many blooging and publishing platforms do not necessarily have good support for mobile blogging. Given the amount of pure junk on the Internet, maybe that's a good thing.

Obviously, as tablets and smart phones merge into one device that provides all your computing needs, this will change.
