I've removed advertising from most of this site and will eventually clean up the few pages where it remains.

While not terribly expensive to maintain, this does cost me something. If I don't get enough donations to cover that expense, I will be shutting the site down in early 2020.

Some material is very old and may be incorrect today

This site reports on politics and tech issues. It's method of operation is incestuous; that is, rather than relying on RSS sources or search engine scanning, it works by seeding a few sites and following links from there. The site explains itself more fully at Q: Who's included? and Why does memeorandum exist?, but the more interesting question is "Does this idea work?"

I'll give that a qualified yes. I've found some interesting things here that I might have missed otherwise. On the other hand, I can't help but think that if this were really popular, it would degenerate to a circle of self referencing insignificance.
