Loose Ends

I've removed advertising from most of this site and will eventually clean up the few pages where it remains.

While not terribly expensive to maintain, this does cost me something. If I don't get enough donations to cover that expense, I will be shutting the site down in early 2020.

If you found something useful today, please consider a small donation.

Some material is very old and may be incorrect today

These are just some random things that came up in the past few weeks email. Some of it surprised me because I thought it would have been easy to find the answer at Help and Resources or my Rates page, but some of it made me groan and think that I have to find a better way for people to find THAT. So, in no particular order:

Guest Posting

Yes, absolutely you can submit guest posts. See Publishing your articles here for more information.

Advertising

Yes, you can advertise here. Whatever you need, we can work something out unless you are some sleazy spammer. See Advertise Here.

Reproducing content

I'm probably willing to let you do it, but you do need to ask. There is a copyright notice link at the end of every article and some older things can be reproduced under the terms you'll read there, but most newer articles may not so you need explicit permission. Please check that link before re-publishing!

Consultant Pages

If you are a Linux/Unix consultant, you can get a free listing at Unix/Linux IT Consultants, Vendors, Programmers and sources of help. There are no strings attached to that offer, it really is free.

Anything else, drop me an email.
