This book is really more about managing IP networks in general than it is about Cisco routers specifically. I'd guess much more than half of the book would apply no matter what brand of routers you were using.

This discusses CIDR (Classless Interdomain Routing), routing protocols, VLSM (Variable Length Subnet Masks), supernetting, and more in a clear and concise manner,
