Nix to Microsoft in China

Mon Aug 25 14:13:22 GMT 2003 Nix to Microsoft in China

China bans Microsoft Software from Government Use

This represents a major loss for Microsoft, but I'm sure they won't accept it easily. They've apparently already offered China everything they offered Thailand, but I bet there's more to come. And if they can't get it that way, they'll go after Congress and the U.N. to put pressure on China for this.

China's got the right idea, I think.

Unlike info, pinfo does not display anything if it has nothing. I've been forever irritated by info coming up with its default page when it has nothing to tell me. (Tony Lawrence)
