I've been waffling back and forth about this for years. Let's start off with the big confession: I do not like e-books.
Ayup. I like either a book I can hold in my hand or HTML web pages. I really, really dislike e-books because I find them clumsy and hard to read.
But that's me. Lots of other people don't share my distaste.
So, I kept coming back to the idea of doing an e-book or two. But then..
It's a lot of work. Yeah, I can cull a lot of material from web pages I've already written (and I did) but it needs to be edited and arranged and all that. It's hard. It takes time.
But I've done it. It's called Pssst - wanna work for yourself? and it's 42,000 plus words of advice about working for yourself. I've plastered links all over this website so you may have aready seen it.
A lot of it comes from articles here in the Employment section but as I said, it's more organized, coherent and there is also material that you won't find here.
I've priced it at $24.95 and yes, there is an affiliate program available if you have a website and want to resell it.
So there it is. For those who dislike e-books or dislike forking over their hard earned money, well, as I said, a lot of it is available right here for free. Unorganized, but here.
If this is even moderately successful, I'll make the effort to package up other stuff. If not.. oh well, I wasted a couple of weeks of sweat and blood. Well, no actual blood, but it sure felt like it.
