(NEWEST POST)
Printers Down I had a call from an old SCO Unix customer this week. There aren't many of those old systems left now - more than you'd probably think, more than there should be, but far less than there were just a few years back. I think you still have a good chance of finding a few SCO boxes in any city, but it's getting harder..
Reading SCO tapes on Linux This is the problem & a solution from the time I had to read some old SCO tapes on a Linux 2.4 system. I also ran into the same problem with tapes created on a 2.2 kernel linux. This might be useful for someone someday.
Forget 500,000 songs - I'll use it for backup It's been all over the blogosphere and even on the nightly news: "500,000 songs on your iPod!". Of course it's nonsense: the technology refererred to is still years away, and as it is likely to appear in expensive forms long before Apple could adopt it for mass consumer use, the first products will probably be Enterprise storage devices and not iPods.
