Google just announced a beta program for organizational email.
That's big news. As some of you know, I'm a Kerio reseller and certainly understand that there are reasons to run an in-house mailserver, not the least which is the ability to have "accounts" that trigger scripts for various purposes. For that reason alone, in-house mail isn't going to go away. There's also the matter of one-stop maintenance: a Windows shop can just add a user to AD and do nothing in Kerio.. and so on.
But still, for some sites this could be a very attractive service, and who knows - Google may be clever enough to offer everything we need.
