From: "D. Thomas Podnar" <tom@microlite.com> Subject: Re: SCO 5.0.7 re-branding after Edge recovery Date: Thu, 03 Jul 2003 10:25:49 -0400 This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --------------7938F3EBF7F95D4FF971F842 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO TOP-POST Sorry for the shouting. OSS656B for SCO OpenServer 5.0.7 is now available on the SCO ftp site: ftp://ftp.sco.com/pub/openserver5/oss656b/ This is a MANDATORY patch for anyone using a disaster recovery product (which should be everybody) or doing site replication. In the case of BackupEDGE SS / RecoverEDGE, the first full system backup made after installing this supplement will work fine for disaster recovery. There is no need to re-make your boot media. All registered BackupEDGE SS owners using 5.0.7 will be notified via the company they bought our product from. -- Best Regards, Tom --- D. This is a Unix/Linux resource website. It contains technical articles about Unix, Linux and general computing related subjects, opinion, news, help files, how-to's, tutorials and more. We appreciate comments and article submissions.
Many of the products and books I review are things I purchased for my own use. Some were given to me specifically for the purpose of reviewing them. I resell or can earn commissions from the sale of some of these items. Links within these pages may be affiliate links that pay me for referring you to them. That's mostly insignificant amounts of money; whenever it is not I have made my relationship plain. I also may own stock in companies mentioned here. If you have any question, please do feel free to contact me.
Specific links that take you to pages that allow you to purchase the item I reviewed are very likely to pay me a commission. Many of the books I review were given to me by the publishers specifically for the purpose of writing a review. These gifts and referral fees do not affect my opinions; I often give bad reviews anyway.
