These are hardly the lowest prices I've seen for thumb drives, but
I was immediately struck by how nice it would be to have my name and
phone number engraved right on it.. right now I have mine rather uglily
labeled with a magic marker..
These guys can even put your logo on if you like. There are plenty of places that do the same thing, but most of them have minimum order requirements - this is something you could do as a one-off for a special customer or friend.
I don't have any personal experience with this company, don't know if the quality is stellar or awful, and yes, buying from the above ad does kick back something to me (though honestly I didn't even notice how much!). This just struck me as a neat idea for a holiday tech gift (they say they can ship quickly) and I thought I'd share it with you.
