Mobile Software I've successfully built customized mobile applications since 1990. Maybe you've seen one of them. If you use Hertz Rental Cars, you've probably seen the Number One Club mobile application on one of their buses. If you've ever taken a taxi in London, chances are you saw my Dial-a-Cab mobile application. Special Features While my applications contain the standard functionality found in mobile software, they also have several special features.
I've worked with Dial-a-Cab since 1988 and recently teamed up with them and Microbus to develop a totally custom built mobile computer for Dial-a-Cab's fleet of 2000 taxis. This new mobile computer is fully compatible with the existing radio system and actually co-exists with the old mobile data terminals which are gradually being phased out. This new mobile computer is the talk of the London taxi trade! The following points describe some of the special features of this mobile computer:
