Of course. What you weant is what we usually call a "virtual printer"- one
that does something to the output before passing it to a real printer. See
/SCOFAQ/scotec7.html#virtualprint for examples of setting
this up.

Well, I've used quite a few- I like the Netgear PS110, or really any of them
that allow direct printing to a port with netcat ( see
/Unixart/netprint.html )
