/dev/ht0        = first rewinding device
/dev/ht1        = second rewinding device



/dev/nht0       = first non-rewinding device
/dev/nht1       = second non-rewinding device



All this and more can be found in /usr/src/linux/Documentation/devices.txt 
if you have the kernel sources installed.
