We had a guy on vacation in Russia for an extended period and he was
able to stay in contact and do some work (I'm guessing while the
hang-overs were abating) via Tarantella. I haven't bothered to see if
the follow-me printing works or not yet as every time I get near a
Windoze box my blood pressure red lines.

Dunno, different prices in different currencies and areas. For a 5 user
license it seems to me it was ok for us to buy (there didn't seem to be
an SCO NFR reseller option) but then we didn't mark it up and resell to
ourselves either.

<misc rant>
It was actually quite annoying to have to purchase Tarantella as we
where using the 1 user version that came with the UnixWare 7.0.0 and
then 7.0.1 Messenger version (both NFR purchases). As SCO resellers it
seemed poignant to use the latest/greatest SCO flagship, future proof
product. Sadly the Netscrape mail server on UW7 seemed to allow spam to
be relayed  and, after actually RTFM'n and configuring UBE filters,
found out that function of the Netscrape mail server was buggered on UW7
versions but was fixed in a subsequent version - which was never ported
to UW7. That and never-ending ptf's et al to keep the machine running
was too much so I switched back to OpenServer. As a small company
selling solutions to similar companies, UW7 is just too excessive in
terms of price and on-going costs, labour. OpenServer 5.0.6+ is a dead
end to sell new customers but still a viable upgrade (ie not a full
license purchase) option for existing post y2k 505 upgraders. A shame
really. We're still seeing if Red Hat Linux is "just right" as it was
the only one of the most popular distros to boast support for all the
3rd party products we usually include in a sale. RHL looks really good
so far though.

P.S. My home machine is running 5.0.5 as I can't seem to stomach Windoze
and don't want to futz with RHL as I have everything "just so". The only
things missing is Flash and a newer Real Audio.....

@loudmouthman: correct, but how do you prove ANYTHING like that is accurate? You can't. A text file is no better or worse than anything.

@loudmouthman: well, a digital signature could prove it hadn't been altered. Text is no more insecure than anything else in that sense.
