Hi to all,
I am working on nis in hetrogenous environment.
i have done automount for sudo .
in all solaris boxes its working properly
but linux boxes not working.
i am getting cannot execute binary file.
is there any alternative method to do sudo on nis
its urgent
please help me

First of all, you've left a comment at a page that has absolutely nothing
to do with sudo or nis.
Secondly, the error you say you are getting is that either you downloaded
something utterly stupid (like a Solaris binary) or your download was botched
(if this was ftp did you set "binary" mode?) or your kernel doesn't support
what you downloade/installed ("file yourbinary" would tell a lot) or you
didn't set "exec" for the mount.. if you can't run any other binary from
the mount, then the last is surely the problem; if you can, it's probably
one of the others
But next time, PLEASE post at an appropriate place!
