Wed Apr 14 11:12:02 GMT 2004 Sun and Microsoft
Sun and Microsoft have buried the hatchet on Java. Many in the Open Source community see this as a very bad move by Sun, and although I don't share some of the more radical conspiracy views, I do think that Sun will regret this eventually.
Sun is afraid of Linux, and of course so is Microsoft. They should be. But Sun has less to fear than Microsoft.
I guess they don't see it that way, and I certainly could be wrong. But mice shouldn't make friends with cats just because a hawk is making both their lives miserable.
