Of course the "licenses" Microsoft supposedly bought were always suspicious, but if this stands up, it shows Microsoft being very underhanded (what else is new?).

I would hope the Justice Department will take notice.

Amen to that. And hopes that the EC will see same in their antimonopoly case as well. (and btw. SCO confirmed the memo, of course saying that it was written by a contractor who had it all wrong :)

    @loudmouthman: correct, but how do you prove ANYTHING like that is accurate? You can't. A text file is no better or worse than anything.

    @loudmouthman: well, a digital signature could prove it hadn't been altered. Text is no more insecure than anything else in that sense.
