Opera Browser

Although not as well known as Firefox, Opera is a popular choice for the geekier crowd. It's small, fast, and has the important features you expect like tabbed browsing and popup blocking. It also has RSS feed capability, a menu choice for quickly switching browser identification to IE, Mozilla or Opera, and some other neat features. I like the Trash icon; if you accidentally close a web page when you didn't meant to (and of course can't remember how you got there), it's right there in the Trash, ready to be reinstated.

Opera can save multiple tabs as bookmarks - they call this "Sessions". By the way, don't look for "Open Tab" in the File Menu: "New Page" is what creates a new tab. You may also like the "Fast Forward" feature, which can guess what the next page you want is (such as when looking at Google search results). Another nice feature is Notes which lets you select text and save it as a sort of bookmark against the page to help you remember why you wanted it.

Opera is a nice browser that works well on your Mac. Give it a try.
