Microlite BackupEDGE 2.0 in public beta

Microlite will soon be releasing version 2.0 of BackupEDGE. I played with this while it was in private beta, and it really adds a lot to an already great product.

New features include better data compression (I was able to fit much more data on a 4.7 GB DVD), some improvements to the use of wildcards and longer pathnames, and data encryption.

Data encryption is becoming a particular concern in the health field and other industries, so this ability is good to see.
