Well, gosh, I was so sure SP2 was going to fix everything, weren't you? Guess not, so here we have yet another reason to dump this security exploit plagued Internet Explorer.
This problem is, again, Active X. You could disable Active X or set IE security to High, but why? Dump it. And when you run across some dumb web page that needs Internet Explorer, don't forget to tell them what you think of their intelligence.

Many of the products and books I review are things I purchased for my own use. Some were given to me specifically for the purpose of reviewing them. I resell or can earn commissions from the sale of some of these items. Links within these pages may be affiliate links that pay me for referring you to them. That's mostly insignificant amounts of money; whenever it is not I have made my relationship plain. I also may own stock in companies mentioned here. If you have any question, please do feel free to contact me.
Specific links that take you to pages that allow you to purchase the item I reviewed are very likely to pay me a commission. Many of the books I review were given to me by the publishers specifically for the purpose of writing a review. These gifts and referral fees do not affect my opinions; I often give bad reviews anyway.

If yer gonna post articles about Microsoft's infamous web browser, would you please take care to correctly spell its name. It's Exploder, not Explorer.

Seven years later..
Well, IE has gotten better. I'm using Chrome now 99% of the time - once in a while I run into something Chrome chokes on and have to switch to Safari, but that's becoming very rare.
I almost never use Firefox anymore unless someone asks me how to do something in it or there is some plugin I want to see where the developer foolishly ignored Chrome.
I wonder what I'll be using 7 years from now? I'm pretty darn sure it will not be IE!
