Just a reminder for those of you here in the Northeast (or those who want an excuse to visit New England) : LinuxWorld is here in Boston in February.
This will be right downtown in the Hynes Convention Center - easy access by public transportation, near lots of great restaurants and other attractions. February isn't always the greatest time to be in New England, but if the weather is nice and you have extra time, there is plenty to see and do right in the city and nearby if you have extra time and transportation.
If readers of this site are planning to go, leave a note here and let's all get together for lunch while you are here. I look forward to seeing you and meeting folks I don't already know. And conning one of you into paying for lunch, of course.
Registration for the exhibits, keynote and BOF presentations is free if you don't wait till the last minute: http://www.linuxworldexpo.com/live/12/

Many of the products and books I review are things I purchased for my own use. Some were given to me specifically for the purpose of reviewing them. I resell or can earn commissions from the sale of some of these items. Links within these pages may be affiliate links that pay me for referring you to them. That's mostly insignificant amounts of money; whenever it is not I have made my relationship plain. I also may own stock in companies mentioned here. If you have any question, please do feel free to contact me.
Specific links that take you to pages that allow you to purchase the item I reviewed are very likely to pay me a commission. Many of the books I review were given to me by the publishers specifically for the purpose of writing a review. These gifts and referral fees do not affect my opinions; I often give bad reviews anyway.
